Count and confirm the splines.
The spline connects the propeller hub to the shaft. A catalogue’s tooth or spline count is one connection detail; it does not by itself establish engine compatibility.
Check the gearcase application.
Gearcase references separate engine application groups. Confirm the relevant size and engine model against the manufacturer’s documentation before using this filter to select a propeller.
Identify the hub system.
Some catalogue configurations list a pressed-in rubber hub; others use an interchangeable system. Confirm the applicable hub kit and whether it is included. Do not assume a separate kit fits every propeller.
Verify every installation component.
Check the thrust washer, spacer, nut and retaining hardware specified for the exact engine and propeller. Use the engine manufacturer’s installation procedure and torque specifications. Installation and servicing should be performed by a qualified person.
Send useful reference information.
Include the engine identification, existing part number, size marking and clear photographs of the current hub and hardware. The SEAPOW team can use these details to review the requested configuration.
